Enterprise2.0? - få använder de verktyg som finns idag (Sharepoint)
Infotrends gjorde nyligen en studie av användning av MS Sharepoint och kostnaderna kring det. Till att börja med är det anmärkningsvärt att Sharepoint är obestridlig marknadsledare med upskattningsvis 1/2 marknaden.
Vad gäller själva användandet är det väldigt tydligt att väldigt få använder de avancerade, och enligt Enterprise2.0-/Social business strategy-profetiorna avgörande, funktionerna som wikis, socialt nätverkande etc. (se figur nedan). Istället ses det snarare som "e-mail replacement" eller "shared drive replacement". Dessutom är det anmärkningsvärt att mjukvarulicensen endast utgör 1/3 av totalkostnaden - hårdvara, underhåll står för merparten av resterande 2/3.
